MUSIC REVIEW OF A THOUSAND YEARS BY CHRISTINA PERRI AND

This song is for the youthful romantic that may still be lurking around in some of us old people.  But, for the young it is a song full of hope and the expectation that love never fails.  Especially for those who surrender to the romance of love.  I think the song is a part of the Twilight movie where Vanpires live forever.  Only the young could find romance in the dead who drink blood and shuffle around in the dark.  Still, it is a beautiful song.  When we were young most of us might have said our love and our marriages would last a thousand years.  But, reality has kicked 50% of us down the steps and left us bruised with sad memories.  We remember a life of mistakes, disappointments and the realization that nothing last forever.  However between the mistakes and disappointments we did live our lives and experience moments of bliss and happiness.  Click the photo and listen to A Thousand Years.  Then, write your review and critque of the song and email it to news@hikespointnews.com

On each holiday I honor my second wife of 22 years with this song A Thousand Years.  She was born in 1949 and passed during Christmas 2014.
