I met an old man at the crossroads of my life and he asked me, "where are you going young man"? I
said, "I am going over yonder". "Where are you coming from" asked the old man. I said, "I
don't know". Then, he asked me, "how did you get to this place in the road"? Again I said, "I
don't know". So, I asked him, "Can you help me get over yonder"?
He said, "I have just come from over yonder. "You have!" I said with great excitement.
"What's it like"? I said. "Tell me what it's like over yonder". "I was a young man when
I went over yonder". said the old man. I met an amazing woman there and married her. We brought two beautiful
girls into the world. Everyday it seemed like God rained blessings down on us from heaven. When the leaves fell
in Autum it was like floating sheets of love upon us. You could almost hear the flowers sing in the Spring. The
wind whisp across your face in the Summers and caused your face to glow. In the Winter my wife and I and my daughters
gathered around the fireplace and roasted marshmellows as the sun went down. Together, we shared a life that seemed
would go on forever".
Before he could tell me more about his time
over yonder, I interrupted him and asked, "What is the best way to get over yonder? I want to be there now".
The old man looked at the roads behind him and said, "just keep moving. Any way you pick will take you over yonder".
So I started walking over yonder.
I met a young man today at the crossroads
of my life and I asked him, "Where are you going"? He said, "I am going over yonder".
